During the month of May, WSS held many events that demonstrate the generosity of our school community. Thank you to our wonderful PTA for organizing our annual Plant Sale, and thank you students, staff and parents for all that you did to make our Crafts Fair, Bake Sale and Jump-a-Thon a huge success. All proceeds from those 3 events will be donated to First Book, Long Island, The Ronald McDonald House and The Franklin Square Historical Society. What and amazing school community we have!! Good Times at WSS
From day to night there are good times at Washington Street School. On Friday, January 25th, to mark the completion of their 1st Writing Fundamentals Unit, the 3rd Grade hosted a Writing Celebration. That night, our PTA sponsored their annual BINGO event. Enjoy photos of the good times from both gatherings!
